The Atzmon Ecological Greenhouse

The Atzmon Ecological Greenhouse is a unique project aiming to promote the study of science, ecology, agriculture and nutrition.
It functions on the premises of the Atzmon Elementary School in the heart of a mixed, heterogeneous neighborhood in Nof HaGalil, and constitutes an anchor for environmental development and building the community in this neighborhood.
In the greenhouse, children and parents experience research and raise plants using methods suited to an urban environment using modern technology, focusing on the growing and cooking of food plants. Learning in the greenhouse is experiential and imparts research skills and creativity through participants’ team work.
